Kindle Afresh the Gift of God

Greetings everyone, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you. We will be in 2 Timothy 1 today. Timothy had a lot to be afraid of in the early Church, with the persecution coming from the Romans. This letter to Timothy is an encouragement not only to him, but to us as well. We are reminded to kindle afresh the gifts that God has given us, and that can only be done through church community. If your flame isn’t burning very hot for Jesus, perhaps it’s time to rekindle with the church to burn hot again. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20 Don’t forget to pray for one another, especially during these uncertain times.
