സമകാലിക രംഗാവതരണ കലാകാരനായ കണ്ണനുണ്ണിയുടെ വർത്തമാനം. നിലവിലുള്ള നാടക/രംഗാവതരണ/അവതരണ രീതികളിൽ നിന്നും മാറിനിന്ന് പുതു അവതരണരീതികളും ലാവണ്യബോധവും അന്വേഷിക്കുന്ന നിരവധി സമകാലിക കലാകാരൻമാർ കേരളത്തിലുണ്ട്. അത്തരത്തിലുള്ള കലാകാരന്മാരുടെ അവതരണ രീതികളെയും കാഴ്ചപ്പാടുകളെയും ടെക്നോ ജിപ്സിയുടെ വർത്തമാനം പരമ്പര പങ്കുവയ്ക്കുവാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു. അവർ മുന്നോട്ടുവയ്ക്കുന്ന അവതരണ സങ്കൽപ്പങ്ങൾ എന്താണ് ? അവരുടെ സർഗാത്മക അവതരണ പ്രയോഗങ്ങളെങ്ങനെയാണ് ? തിരുവനന്തപുരം സ്വദേശിയായ കണ്ണൻ, തിരുവനന്തപുരം അഭിനയ, തൃശ്ശൂർ സ്കൂൾ ഓഫ് ഡ്രാമ, ഡൽഹി നാഷണൽ സ്കൂൾ ഓഫ് ഡ്രാമ എന്നിവടങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും പഠനം പൂർത്തിയാക്കി. ദേശീയവും അന്തർദേശീയവുമായ രംഗാവതരണ സംഘങ്ങൾക്കൊപ്പം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു. 2017-ൽ കണ്ണനും സുഹൃത്തുക്കളും ചേർന്നു തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തു 'എലിഫന്റ് തീയേറ്റർ സൊസൈറ്റി' തുടങ്ങി. കണ്ണനുണ്ണിക്കൊപ്പം നടന്മാരും ബാർസിലോണയിലെ മൂവോ- ഫിസിക്കൽ തീയേറ്റർ ആൻഡ് കോർപ്പോറിയൽ മൈമി ലെ (Moveo - Physical theatre and corporeal mime, Barcelona) വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളുമായ അരവിന്ദ് ടി എം, അതുൽ വിജയകുമാർ എന്നിവരും ഈ പോഡ്‌കാസ്റ്റിൽ ചേരുന്നു. Contemporary theatre artist Kannanunni shares his thoughts on theatre and its aesthetics, performance making process and struggles in his creative process. Kannanunni started his theatre practices with Trivandrum based theatre called Abhinaya, then Thrissur School of Drama and New Delhi National School of Drama. He also worked nationally and internationally. Kannan along with friends started a theatre group in Trivandrum called ‘Elephant Theatre Society’ in 2017. Kannanunni’s collaborators and actors Aravind TM and Athul Vijayakumar are also joining in this podcast. Both are currently studying at MOVEO - Centro de teatro físico y mimo corporal dramático, Barcelona. In this vernacular series titled Varthamanam, Techno Gypsie Podcast tries to explore the vision and new ways of performance practices of these artists which are not discussed in the public domain widely.
