But instead of just taking a massive sh*t on them—which would be very easy to do—we're talking about knowing your rights when it comes to ICE.While the odds still favor this not happening, it is absolutely crucial to know what to do if you were taken by ICE. Everyone in the United States has constitutional rights—regardless of immigration status. That includes undocumented immigrants, visa holders, permanent residents—everyone.Important things to remember:​ You have the right to remain silent.​ You do not have to answer questions about where you were born, your immigration status, or how you entered the country.​ If these a-holes come to your home, they cannot enter without a valid warrant signed by a judge.​ If you are detained or arrested, you always have the right to speak to a lawyer.​ Do not ever lie or provide false documents.​ Do not carry important documents—if they seize those documents, there is no guarantee you'll get them back and then they can do whatever they want with them. Driver's license, passport, but no birth certificate or social security cards, etc.The goal here is not confrontation—it's protection. Your rights don't disappear just because a situation feels intimidating—and understanding them is one of the strongest tools you have.Stay safe, stay informed, and protect each other.
