KORTEZ ARTISE, Visual Artist, creator of Esoteric Urbanism and Co Owner of House of BAV Oct 7 2020

Artist Statement: I'm a visual artist who works in various mediums and I create Fine Art. I branded my art as "Esoteric Urbanism". The title was given to me by a dear friend who used the term to describe my art to her son. Since then I've been using the term to give focus my artistic vision. For me it has expanded to reflect not only my art and creative mind set, Esoteric Urbanism speaks on my lifestyle as an independent artist and it also can describe my overall style that includes the fashion I wear. Since opening House of BAV in 2019 with my wife, I'm currently exploring her world of sustainable fashion and adding my creative touch to the Born Again Vintage line and my own clothes. So after many years of navigating the art world, I have made a return to Fashion retail but this time as an entrepreneur .
