Krasner welcomes public hearing on GOP's criticism of Philly's immigration policies

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner says he welcomes a public hearing to discuss the GOP's criticism of Philadelphia's immigration policies. The Republican chair of the House Judiciary Committee, Jim Jordan, sent a letter to the DA, the police commissioner and the sheriff that reads, “We write to request information about your office’s sanctuary policies, which ultimately endanger the communities you serve." Krasner says he has spoken with the city's attorney and the sheriff. The sheriff’s office had no comment. The city said the solicitor will handle a response to the committee’s request.
