12. februārī apritēja septiņi gadi, kopš 2015. gada pasauli pāršalca ziņa un video par to, ka islāmistu teroristi Lībijas Vidusjūras piekraste ir nogalinājuši 21 kristieti. 20 no viņiem bija Ēģiptes koptu kristieši, bet viens viesstrādnieks no Ganas. Kā vienīgais viņu noziegums tika minēts piederība naidīgajai Ēģiptes baznīcai, kā arī uzsvērts, ka viņi ir "krusta cilvēki". Pirms tam šiem cilvēkiem ticis vairakkārt piedāvāts noliegt savu ticību un pāriet islāma ticībā, no kā viņi kategoriski atteicās. Arī viesstrādnieks no Ganas, redzot savu biedru pārliecību, atbildējis: "Viņu Dievs ir arī mans Dievs."  Šķiet gan drīz neticami, ka šādas zvērības var notiks 21. gadsimtā.
