Kristin Hersh catches up with Kyle Meredith to talk about her latest solo album, Clear Pond Road. The Throwing Muses leader tells us about trashing an album she was working on prior to this new set, how the title comes from a sign she found in a junk shop and how it gave her direction, as well as the generally strong sense of place the LP focuses on, especially New Orleans and Southern California.
