Kula Sports Performance: Brian Kula

from Whole Team Eats Podcast · host Tim Miller I 24eight Media

Growing up, Brian was surrounded by athletics and training. His dad was a high school football and track coach, and one of the first strength and conditioning coaches in his area. Brian grew up watching and learning from his dad and which helped him as an athlete and eventually as a trainer. After being inducted into the Colorado State Football Hall of fame, it was an easy decision to follow in his dad's footsteps and launch his career as a teacher and coach. On the show, we discuss Brian’s background in education and working as a coach. In 2018 Brian received a call from Christian McCaffery, a former high school athlete who would effectively be the start of his training career. After 28 years in education, Brian took the opportunity of a lifetime to start training professional and collegiate athletes. Brian has always put an emphasis on educating the “why” to athletes which have led to a lot of success. This success is now translating into an expansion of both staff and training locations.
