"The initial idea was to create an EP designated to my journey since I left my childhood home. I arrived in London in 2019, chasing a music career after struggling to fit in where I grew up. In no time, I felt at ease, free to be myself, and to chase my goals. I started experiencing raves in the heart of the UK and absorbing the rich underground culture that the city had to offer. It became clear –London was where I belonged, a place I’d call home. "In my music-making journey, I explored a large variety of genres, sounds, and artists. It was cool for a while, but eventually, I got tired. I craved something else, a sound that really moved me. Despite enjoying the process, none of it felt like 'home.' Then came my 'Heartless' EP, a dive into non-traditional 'bass music', and suddenly, I felt like I found something. SATURATE! noticed my EP quickly and helped me on a journey of self-discovery and pride. After dropping 'Heartless', I knew I had found my sound. It felt so right. It felt like home. "This was when I started the 'Home' EP project. I wanted to fully explore my artistic identity. It was my way of creating music on my terms. I never felt as much pride and joy in creating music as I did while I wrote this EP. "Releasing 'Home' on SATURATE! was a no-brainer. They welcomed me from the start, giving me a spot in the bass music scene where I felt at home. It's a supportive community where artists get praised for pushing against the norms.
