Kurenti iz Destrenika in s Ptuja prvič v Bratislavi

V Bratislavi na Slovaškem so minulo soboto na povabilo mestnega odbora za kulturo in turizem prvič na 4. Bratislavskih Fašiangih nastopili kurenti iz Desternika in s Ptuja. Sodelovale so tudi študentke slovenščine z lektorata Univerze v Bratislavi, ki so se pustile ujeti kurentom na odru in so jim pripele robčke na ježevke. Kurenti so sodelovali tako na glavnem odru pred mestno hišo, kakor tudi v pohodu po ulicah starega mestnega jedra. Pogostili so jih na Veleposlaništvu v Bratislavi. Popoldne je na glavnem odru potekal mednarodni karneval, kjer so se poleg Slovenije predstavile še Indija, Kitajska, Španija in Ekvador. Kurenti so imeli ves čas največ občudovalcev, saj so se vsi hoteli z njimi fotografirati. Predsednik združenja Slo Slo Borut Meršak - večino sredstev za gostovanje sta prispevala prav on in združenje - je na glavnem odru predstavil kurente in večtisočglavo množico povabil, da se udeleži tudi največjega kurentovanja ta konec tedna na Ptuju.
