In this episode of the Brawn Body Health and Fitness Podcast, Dan is joined by Kyle Sammons to discuss soft tissue injuries such as Achilles Tendon and other Tendon injuries and how to evolve our training methodologies accordingly. Kyle Sammons is in his second season in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals as Coordinator of Sport Science & Assistant Strength and Conditioning. In his current role he assists with the return to play and reconditioning continuum of injured athletes. Before coming to the Cardinals, Kyle previously worked at STRIVE as the Vice President of Performance and at the collegiate level including stops at the University of Washington and the University of Nevada. While at Washington, Kyle was the director of sports science/reconditioning after starting as an assistant strength and conditioning coach with the football team. He went to Washington after starting his career at Nevada as an assistant strength and conditioning coach where he assisted with football and was the head strength and conditioning coach for men's basketball, women's soccer and track & field. Kyle played college football at the University of Nevada and has over 15 years of team strength and conditioning experience.
