KZN Gov fast tracks refugee transport to Lindela

After months of living on the streets, refugees camping outside the Department of Home Affairs offices on Che Guevara Road in Durban will finally be provided with temporary accommodation. This was confirmed by eThekwini Mayor Cyril Xaba, who visited the offices following a protest by the anti-immigration group March and March. The municipality will facilitate the refugees' transportation to temporary accommodation to the Lindela Repatriation Centre in Gauteng.
