En este programa comenzamos un proyecto que llamamos Aula Monteverdi, en el que alumnos del Grado de Historia y Ciencias de la música de la Universidad de Salamanca, colaborarán en La Folía. Con ánimo de difundir las artes radiofónicas y las artes musicales, distintos alumnos pasarán por los estudios de Radio Universidad durante el mes de mayo. Y los primeros colaboradores de este proyecto son Cristian y Mayte. Nos hablaron de un tema muy interesante cada vez más estudiado en la musicología. Las mujeres sin duda han sido las grandes olvidadas de la historia y sus logros y talentos han sido constantemente silenciados. No obstante, en las últimas décadas los estudios de género en diferentes disciplinas han permitido recuperar la obra y memoria de mujeres que hicieron aportaciones importantes al saber universal. Y como no podía ser menos, la música se incluye dentro de esto. La musicología de género nos permite hacer una inmersión en la vida, obra y contexto de las mujeres compositoras de la historia de la música, que son más de las que creemos y hoy nos vamos a ocupar de una de ellas, una mujer del barroco temprano en la Florencia de las primeras décadas del siglo XVII: Francesca Caccini. También emitimos en exclusiva la entrevista que le realizamos al violinista Enrico Onofri después de su concierto con la Orquesta Barroca de la Universidad. Todo un privilegio poder escucharle.
