Maybe because we didn’t think divorce or separation was possible however, there is a considerable increase in women and children facing homelessness and poverty due to the family breakdown, or a death in the family. The reality is when I was raising children and looking after the home, I wasn’t thinking about my financial future or my career path, I was raising babies.Between 2011-2021 there was an increase of 40% for women facing homelessness and poverty.
