Diseñar nuevos materiales formados por pequeñas unidades de dimensiones nanométricas utilizando óxidos metálicos es el campo de investigación de nuestra invitada hoy en Hablando con Científicos: Laia Vilà Nadal, química computacional y Lecturer in Metal Oxide Chemistry en la Universidad de Glasgow, en el Reino Unido. Laia investiga la formación de materiales creados ensamblando pequeñísimos ladrillos organometálicos (MOF) de manera que contengan orificios que se repiten regularmente y puedan atrapar en su interior moléculas de gas, como metano o dióxido de carbono.
