Lael Rides Around the World Faster — Pre Ride

On June 7th at 4 a.m. from Buckingham Fountain in Chicago, I'm starting my ride around the world with the challenge of being the fastest person overall. Set in 2017, Mark Beaumont holds the current record at 78 days, 14 hours and 40 minutes. That's 30 days faster than my finish in 2024.18,000 miles (29,000 km) with the goal of finish by 6:40 p.m. on August 24th.It's just a big bike ride after all.We'll be recording a podcast daily.
