Mai Special weiter - Hello #12, hello ZiggyKinder! Seit 1999 veröffentlichte der charismatische Kölner Produzent und DJ bereits über 14 EPs und zwei Alben auf Labeln wie Akkrobatik, Barboom, WARE, Souvenir, Level, WIR, Minimood, Animo und anderen. Ziggy's Debutalbum „Akrobatik“ ist ein super-individueller Entwurf im Minimal-Techno-Feld von ungewöhnlicher Melodik, Dramatik und Vielschichtigkeit. Die Veröffentlichung von seinem Album nimmt Herr Kinder zum Anlass eine ausgedehnte Tour durch alle Clubs Europas zu bestreiten. Seine Live-Auftritte sind in jedem Fall nichts für schwache Füße! Seine Musik zielt dahin, wo er sich auch in seiner Freizeit am liebsten aufhält: Die Tanzfläche. Er verzaubert sein Publikum irgendwo zwischen Verspieltheit, mitreißender Funkyness und einer satten Bassline. Seine eigenwilligen Arrangements zeichnen sich sowohl durch Experimentierfreudigkeit als auch durch Club-Funktionalität aus. Dabei spielt Soundästhetik immer eine wichtige Rolle. Einmal sind es stark veränderte Samples, ein anderes Mal diverse Synthis mit eingespielten Phrasen, aber meistens alles gemischt und entgegen der Anziehungskraft raus ins Klang-Universum. He knows how to fill the often hollow term "live" with real life, energy, movement and passion. More than ever, his sound revolves around deepness and fat bass. Ziggy ventures outside the box and knows how to move some feet – as a live performer or DJ. Since 1999, Ziggy has been making professional music in many different ways and so already released about 14 EPs and 2 albums on labels like Akkrobatik, Barboom, WARE, Souvenir, Level, WIR, Minimood, Animo and many more. As it has always been the case, Ziggy spends his time clubbing by shaking his boody on the dance floor. This is why he is especially keen on producing tracks to which you can actually dance. Once that might be strongly modified samples, some other time it might be syths or acoustic instruments, accompanied by phrases though mostly all mixed up and running against the gravity far out into the sounds of the Universe.
