Before the demands of today begin to gather pace, pause for a moment and remember this beautiful truth: you have not stepped into this morning alone. Yesterday has passed, tomorrow has not yet arrived, but today is held securely in the hands of a faithful God. Whatever lies ahead, His compassion has already gone before you, and His grace is waiting to meet you with every new step. Lamentations 3:22–23 (NIV) “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of this new morning. Thank You that Your mercy has not run out, Your compassion has not grown weary, and Your faithfulness remains constant. Lord Jesus, lead us with wisdom through every conversation, every decision and every opportunity that this day will bring. Holy Spirit, renew our minds, strengthen our hearts and help us to walk with quiet confidence rather than fear. Where yesterday brought disappointment, plant fresh hope. Where there has been uncertainty, grant clear direction. May we notice Your hand at work in both the ordinary and the unexpected moments, and may our lives reflect Your kindness to everyone we meet today. Today we declare that fear will not win, because God’s mercies are new every morning and His faithfulness never comes to an end.
