Yesterday may still be on your mind. Perhaps there are words you wish you had said differently, worries that stayed with you through the night or questions that are still waiting for an answer. Yet before this day asks anything of you, God has already met you with His mercy. Let’s begin this new day together. Scripture (NIV) “Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22–23 Heavenly Father, thank You that Your mercy greets us before anything else today. We don’t have to carry yesterday into this morning because Your compassion is new again. Help us to receive Your grace, to let go of what we cannot change and to walk forward with quiet confidence. Guide our thoughts, our words and our choices today. Let Your faithfulness become the steady ground beneath our feet, and may we notice Your goodness in both the ordinary and the unexpected moments of this new day. Fear will not win, because every morning begins with the unfailing faithfulness of God. May the Lord fill your heart with fresh hope today, strengthen your spirit and gently lead you in every step you take.
