Landis Maitland-Whitelaw Interview 12/21/21

Good Evening listeners, Just had a very nice and enlightening  discussion with Landis Maitland-Whitelaw who is a musical composer in  Vancouver, BC. Landis is a retired police officer who has also been an undercover musician since about the age of 12, composing his first piece, a fantasia shortly before he turned 18.   In his mid thirties he studied musical theory at the University of Saskkatchewan.  He is a very pleasant person to talk to, he loves to talk. You can find him on U Tube, Linkd in, and  Facebook and a lot  of his works are posted with visual images too, he is a photographer as well. We had discussed the important impact that music has  upon movies as well and how we correlate music  with our memories of  points in time.
