Qu'est ce que le Pranayama ? Le Pranayama est la discipline du souffle universelle. En sanskrit, le terme "prana" désigne le souffle et "yama" la maitrise du souffle." Prana est l'énergie qui pénètre l'univers à tous les niveaux. C'est à la fois l'énergie physique, mentale, intellectuelle, sexuelle, spirituelle et cosmique. C’est le premier moteur de toutes les actions. Le Pranayama offre de nombreux bienfaits. L'élasticité des poumons s’installe, ce qui facilite leur capacité de remplissage et de vidange. Ça favorise en même temps une meilleure oxygénation de tout l’organisme. Par ailleurs, grâce à cet apport d’oxygène supplémentaire, les facultés physiques, organiques, physiologiques, sensorielles et mentales sont également boostées.
