Last Call At Torchy’s #6 : 48 Hours (1982)

The Torchy’s boys head to California for this installment when we cover the flick that boomed the buddy cop genre into high gear with 48 Hours. Nick Nolte is a hard nosed cop who’s dealing with two escaped baddies. He needs the help of Reggie Hammond (Eddie Murphy) to find these cop killers and have some animosity and laughs along the way. This film brings back Walter Hill alums James Remar, Sonny Landham, Peter Jason and Brion James back into the fold.
