It is no secret that 2022 was a challenging year. Amid an unexpected geopolitical conflict that tainted the world’s recovery, a waning pandemic that still managed to strain the global supply chain, and the imminent implementation of a tighter monetary policy, central banks and economies had to adjust to this unexpected reality. Against this backdrop, investors were forced to accept a different environment and a different way to invest after being used to lose monetary policy and lower rates.
