Laura Lee's Sin Bin - Corsica Air Traffic Control

from WAPL Mornings with Laura Lee & Cutter · host Laura Lee and Cutter

When I first started out in radio, I did the midnight to 6am shift. I stayed awake on a steady diet of sour gummy worms and a pure sugar mocha cappuccino that came from a poorly maintained machine at the gas station. I never missed a break with that concoction of sugar and sugar with just an extra dash of sugar. The air traffic controller at the Napoleon Bonaparte Airport may want to try a similar diet to stay awake as they fell asleep earlier this week as a passender jet plane was trying to land at that airport. The plane had to circle for nearly an hour while emergency crew on the ground tried to get in touch with the tower.. finally waking the guy up. Air traffic controller is kinda an important job and not one to snooze off at. Maybe install a automatic coffee maker up in that space. Gezz. For falling asleep while a bunch of people go on an unexpected sightseeing trip for an hour, he should feel shame, shame, shame.
