Lauren is a motivational speaker (I challenge you to be in her presence and NOT feel motivated by her insanely warm, supportive energy btw), Addiction Counsellor, and Founder of the Sober Collective (check it out on insta - @sober.collective), working with successful high achievers who struggle to break free from self sabotage and toxic behaviours. We chatted about how a little girl from a very lovely upbringing and everything seemingly 'perfect' on the outside, experienced pain, feelings of deep failure and ended up on the wrong side of addiction. She is now doing incredible things and building a sober community, which you can't help but feel a bit FOMO about if you're not in it!! She also doesn't ram sobriety down your throat, which I feel is an important point to note!!
