In this episode, I speak with Dr. Revital Madar, political theorist and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at the European University Institute. Her research examines how state violence is legalized, normalized, and contested, with a focus on Israel and Palestine.We discuss her project State Agents on Trial, analyzing trials of security forces as sites where the boundaries of legitimate violence are negotiated.
