Un de mes livres préférés de tous les temps est: “Le roi de l’avenue Madison” C'est une biographie sur le regretté grand David Ogilvy. Et, l'une des raisons pour lesquelles je l'aime tellement, c'est qu'il parle d'une méthode de rédaction intelligente qu'il a inventée et qui peut même permettre à des gens qui t’ignorent, d’ouvrir plus souvent ce qui vient de toi, de lire et de cliquer avec enthousiasme sur tes e-mails. Ce n'est pas la chose la plus sexy que tu entendras, c'est probablement pourquoi tu ne l'entendras d’aucun gourou lors d'un séminaire de marketing Internet. Pourtant, ça peut facilement rendre tes lancements de produits et tes campagnes d'affiliation beaucoup plus rentables, tout en réduisant considérablement tes désabonnements. Divulgation complète: Évidemment, M. Ogilvy n'a pas créé cette technique pour les emails. Mais, j'ai trouvé que ça fonctionne encore mieux pour les emails lorsque c’est fait correctement, car ça fait en sorte que tes emails ne ressemblent pas (1) à des arguments de vente flagrants et (2) aux produits de lancement de tous les autres, où ils envoies ces courts petits e-mails avec “dernière chance!” ou peu importe.
