Angelo has been doing the job of two to three people for the past four months and his boss has known. He feels like his boss is going to ignore that he needs assistance. Angelo wishes he could open a door and run away from the pressure. He wants to know ways how he could handle it. Tune in to hear Nancy explain that there are multiple ways to be heard and what steps should be taken after. ‬‬‬‬Our second caller, Bekah, had an argument with a friend a few weeks back and has since been able to continue their friendship. However, some things were said and Bekah feels hurt. She asks Nancy how she should properly communicate with her friend that their words were hurtful. Nancy shares with Bekah how to express how she is feeling rather than blaming her friend. If it is a sincere apology than their friendship will grow. If her friend makes excuses, Bekah may want to consider letting the friendship go. Today’s inspirational guest is Katie Hill. Katie was born Luke, but struggled as a child wanting to be a girl rather than a boy. She was constantly bullied by her peers because she was vocal about disliking her boyish features. At around 17 years old, Katie discovered what it meant to be transgender and six-months later, had bottom surgery. Today, Katie is in a successful relationship with a man, and is still discovering who she wants to be as a woman. Our final caller, Marianna, is going through some family struggles. Her parents have been taking their anger out on Marianna and her siblings as a result of their divorce. Marianna asks Nancy how she can support her parents but not feel the pressure of their breakup on her shoulders. Hear how Nancy advises Marianna to write a letter to each of her parents expressing her concerns. To discover who you are, Nancy suggests listening to your inner voice as a guide. Embrace yourself with open arms and appreciate all the aspects of who you are. By looking within yourself you will find the answers to what you want. It could be a supportive relationship or learning new hobbies.
