Show Theme: Reclaiming your Life Show Title: Learn how you can reclaim your life by visualizing your goals as you Live Full Out Episode: 2018.4.34The Living Full Out show encourages you to reclaim your life. By aligning your actions with intention and purpose, and by visualizing your goals, you can evolve to reach new potential. It could be that you have lost your confidence, or perhaps you are having difficulty dealing with loosing something special in your life. It is important in these situations to know that you deserve to move forward Our first caller, Rhonda, is approaching retirement. Sacrificing her job for a new chapter in her life makes Rhonda feel uneasy. She wants to know how to find a hobby that will not only fulfill her, but will assist in her reclaiming passion and joy in her life. Tune in to hear Nancy teach how finding a passion to fill the void, begins with diversifying Rhonda’s usual interests, and exploring new activities. Our second caller, Matthew, asks Nancy how he can regain his confidence and improve his public speaking. Nancy makes it clear that the key components to being a good public speaker are the delivery, unique message, and passion behind the words. Nancy tells Matthew that by speaking about his story and personal experience, he can be reminded of his power to inspire others. This realization can help Matthew discover his purpose. Today’s inspirational guest is Victoria Reynolds. Victoria was born into a polygamous cult in Montana, where her self-worth was diminished to her role as a woman, future-wife, and domestic slave. Victoria ran away from the religious community and recovered from the abuse of her early years. Yet later on in life, she was hit with even more challenges. During the 2008 recession Victoria lost her parents, her businesses, and nearly all her faith and willpower. It was only when Victoria listened to her inner-voice with gratitude and learned to trust herself fully, that she was able to reclaim her life with more knowledge and insight than before. Our last caller, Jonathan, desires to choose a career after graduation. However, Jonathan is afraid of choosing a specific profession because he fears he will pick the wrong one. Jonathan wants to reclaim feelings of success, but is afraid of commitment at work. Nancy guides Jonathan, and tells him that focusing on a particular job won’t inhibit his options, but will broaden his opportunities. Nancy helps Jonathan understand that more options lie down the line, and that he is diversified in many skills, which will lead him towards the career he wants. To reclaim the life you always wanted, Nancy suggests approaching opportunities with energy and fearlessness. Explore the positive “What ifs. ” For example, “What if I do succeed” or “What if I have the strength to overcome this obstacle”? This exercise might initially feel unnatural, but with practice, you can use affirmations to visualize your goals and ultimately reach them. By reflecting on what did or did not work in the past, you can gain insight for how to make more effective actions in the present. This knowledge will pave the way for you to take control and live a life full out.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/living-full-out-show--1474350/support.
