I feel most people are too dependent on others for fulfillment. When those elements are no longer around, individuals without independence begin to break-down and succumb to depression. This is in friendship, marriage, and just overall need for social interaction. My suggestion is to always learn to be independent, learn to respect yourself, and relish in those times with other people. But your primary source of gratification should not be other people, because friends move on and when you leave the house, you don't have the same support structure that you once had.

Sue persevered and delivered a healthy baby girl. The disease went into remission, never to return. Sue went on to publish her inspirational life story, "Soar Above It All Overcoming Adversities in Life." This is a story of challenges and triumph over illness, abuse, disease, divorce, and near de History of the Thirty Years War, Volume 2 by Friedrich Schiller Loyal Books The History of the Thirty Years War is a five volume work, which followed his very successful History of the Revolt of the Netherlands. Written for a wider audience than Revolt, it is a vivid history, colored by Schiller’s own interest in the question of human freedom and his rationalist optimism. Volume 2 covers late 1620 through the aftermath of the Battle of Leipzig (now known as the First Battle of Breitenfeld), in 1631. Burning Wheel by Aldous Huxley Loyal Books Though Aldous Huxley is best known for his later novels and essays, he started his writing career as a poet. The Burning Wheel is his first work, a collection of thirty poems that pay homage in style to poets who wrote in the Romantic or the French symbolist styles. Many of the poems deal with themes of light, darkness, sight, music, art, war, and idealism vs. realism. Though the optimism in his early works waned as he became older, his characteristically optimistic and determined point of view shines through. The last poem was read collaboratively by ezwa, AlgyPug and Larry Wilson. Good Newscast (Sponsored by Frost) Texas Monthly Good Newscast is a feel-good podcast, part of the Texas Optimism Project.
