Learning to Adjust & Respect your Best Friend's New Relationship

from Why Not #DoBoth with Kellie Sbrocchi · host Kellie Hall Sbrocchi

Did I just lose my best friend?! --That's what you're thinking. Your best friend has a new boyfriend, just like that, your life is over. Or is it? Maybe you completely approve of him, but where does this leave you? Maybe you think he's the devil's cousin? Regardless, when your best friend has a new boyfriend, you've got to learn to navigate your new role starting from a foundation of self-reflection + respect. In this episode, I'm diving into how YOU (yes, you!!) are in charge of how you respond to your BFF's new man. Just because time will be spent different doesn't mean your relationship will be completely different. There's a huge misunderstanding that life just cannot be the same if your favorite girl has a new priority, but this also means you have an opportunity to form new ones as well. Maybe your schedule isn't filled with as many bachelor viewing parties as it did before, but now you have an opportunity to spread your wings in other relationships + opportunities. I'm speaking from experience in this one, as both the person who had to sit back + adjust to my best friend's new man, but also as the woman who found her man + became frustrated with her friends reactions along the way. I don't want to see you lose your best friend, I want to help you navigate a new chapter in your life where you can be both happy for her + thrive on your own. Enjoyed this episode?
