learning to be comfortable with uncertainty

from Rapid Realization Podcast · host Dr. Ann Marie Balkanski

Episode # 30 - Learning to be comfortable with uncertainty. In this episode we focus on the uncomfortable feelings of dealing with uncertainty. Uncertainty is the lack of knowing the outcome of a situation. When we become uncomfortable from the uncertainty it comes from the overactivity of our thoughts and "what ifs" which then trigger feelings. The subconscious mind is then actually re-experiencing the "what if" fantasies we create causing further discomfort. The subconscious mind does not know if what we are showing it is real or not real even if it is imagined potentials.  Sometimes we are even reminded of past experiences of uncertainty which heightens the discomfort feelings even further. In this podcast we discuss what to focus on when this happens. New reframes of how to see the uncertainty or the discomfort to learn to be more comfortable within the  discomfort.
