Bienvenue dans ce nouvel épisode de notre podcast, dans lequel Benjamin a le privilège de recevoir la musicienne et surfeuse Lee Ann Curren.  Née dans une famille de surfeurs légendaires et engagés (Tom Curren et Marie-Pascale Delanne, fondateurs de Surfrider Fondation Europe), Lee Ann a baigné dans cet univers dès son plus jeune âge. C'est donc tout naturellement qu'elle est devenue une surfeuse accomplie. Mais si elle n’est pas en train de voguer sur sa planche, elle est sûrement en studio, à explorer  diverses sonorités en tant que multi-instrumentiste (guitare, basse, claviers analogiques,...) .    Le lien entre la musique et le surf est profondément ancré dans la vie de Lee Ann. Elle décrit le surf comme une source d'inspiration pour sa musique et vice versa. Les vagues de l'océan sont pour elle une véritable source de créativité, et ses chansons capturent souvent la magie et la liberté qu'elle ressent lorsqu'elle surfe. Au fil des années, Lee-Ann Curren a réussi à équilibrer avec brio sa carrière de surfeuse professionnelle et sa carrière musicale. Elle a voyagé dans le monde entier pour participer à des compétitions de surf tout en continuant à écrire, enregistrer et se produire sur scène. Ce qui n'est pas sans faire naître des questionnements et dilemmes liés à une activité professionnelle faite de voyages et de sponsoring.      Dans ce podcast, on parle bien sûr de surf et de musique, mais aussi de son éveil écologique, sa sensibilité pour la protection des océans et on y aborde des pistes de réflexion pour voyager différemment en tant qu'artiste.
