Volt időszak, amikor több mint 20 magyar fiú öltötte fel valamelyik klub mezét, s közülük nem egyet még ma is sztárolnak az ottani szurkolók. Majd negyedszázad elteltével sem felejtik el például Sallói István és Pisont István játékát, őket királyként ünneplik, amikor vissza-vissza látogatnak egykori klubjaikhoz, ahol mellesleg ivritül beszélgetnek egymással, mert a magyarok többnyire – bár nem zsidó családból származnak – a vallási, kulturális hagyományok mellett a nyelvet is megismerték, megtanulták.
