Leslie Crucil is the author of the reflective and educational book, "You Don't Need To Know That" - The Saga of Sammy  which documents the life of her daughter,Samantha, as she learns to understand autism and everything it entails from her birth to her early twenties. Leslie was born in Ontario, Canada but moved with her family to Orange County, California in the late 1950s. She attended California State University, Fullerton where she majored in Spanish and received her teaching credential. Her post-graduate Master's Degree in Counseling is from The University of La Verne, California. Leslie has a 30 year background in education having taught high school up to the university level as well as conducting staff development and teacher training workshops. Leslie, her husband Jeff, and daughters Sammy and Dana, continue to fight the autism battle.  They currently reside in Orange, Calif.
