Lesotho Times editor, Mohalenyane Phakela released

Lesotho Times editor, Mohalenyane Phakela was arrested over a story exposing alleged corruption allegedly by the boss of the Lesotho Correctional Service, Mating Nkakala. Phakela, was arrested on Friday evening at his offices by the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Offenses' officials and ferried to the Maseru Central Charge Office, where he was detained detention.
