Lesson 017

from Apprendre l'anglais · host Thomas Carlton

Sur ce podcast, on apprend à parler des conditions mentales et physiques. Vocabulaire: Remarquez bien qu'en français c'est "avoir" de temps en temps et "être" de temps en temps, mais c'est toujours "to be" (être) en anglais. to be hot -- avoir chaud to be cold -- avoir froid to be tired -- avoir sommeil to be hungry -- avoir faim to be thirsty -- avoir soif to be ashamed -- avoir honte to be afraid (of...) -- avoir peur (de...) to be right -- avoir raison to be wrong -- avoir tort to be happy -- être heureux to be sad -- être triste to be in a good mood -- être de bonne humeur to be in a bad mood -- être de mauvaise humeur to be angry -- être faché to know -- savoir; connaître (il n'y a pas de différence en anglais) to know how to do something -- savoir faire quelque chose N'oubliez pas qu'en anglais il faut toujours mettre le mot "how" entre les deux verbes pour indiquer que l'on sait faire quelque chose.
