Welcome to Lessons From the Psalms with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 23. Proverb 23 is one of my favorite chapters of the entire Bible. It is written by David, who used to be a shepherd, then slew the giant Goliath, and eventually became king of the nation of Israel. After reading the psalm I will begin my commentary by sharing the commentary given in my Bible (the Nelson Study Bible). I will then go each verse individually and give a few brief comments on each verse. Enjoy!
