Let Jesus Be Exalted

Greetings, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you. We will be in Matthew 6 today. When we do things, who is it that primarily benefits? Most often we do things just for ourselves, even things that are considered selfless. Giving to the poor, donating your time and talent, or even praying should be done from a position of humility, otherwise Jesus doesn't get exalted. Our reward is waiting for us in Heaven when we serve with humility, but patting ourselves on the back gains no heavenly reward. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20 Don’t forget to pray for one another, especially during these uncertain times.
