It's time for our next ep, can you believe!? This one is with two literal rays of sunshine, Lar and Cath!In this episode, Isabella sat down with Lauren and Catherine Lee, the founders of Semaine Health. Lar and Cath are identical twin sisters both living with endometriosis. After a 15 year wait to be officially diagnosed, Lar had multiple surgeries for her stage IV endo and Cath excision surgery for her stage II. Based on their experience of having their period pain dismissed for years, Cath and Lar started their own plant-based supplement company called Semaine. Their first supplement is an all-natural anti-inflammatory for people with painful periods. Their biggest dream for Semaine is that it pushes the medical and pharma industries to take womxn's pain seriously. We talk on their endometriosis stories, the burnout and stress that can come from trying to manage a chronic condition, the why behind starting Semaine health, as well as the journey to launching, the key ingredients, what each one does and why it was so important to make them plant based and dairy free, the highlights and impact they've created so far, and we touch on what's coming up next for Semaine! Lar and Cath are like beams of light and were such a delight to have on the show, so we absolutely know you're going to connect and resonate with what they have to say!Loved listening to what Lar and Cath had to say? NEWMORROW SESSIONS - A PodCast Series on the Future of Hospitality Mario C. Bauer, Florian Schneider, Axel Weber & Dr. Tillman Bardt The Newmorrow PodCast is more than a podcast — it's a platform for open dialog on the future of our business, a platform for those building what doesn’t exist yet. Here, we share and embrace our passion for the hospitality industry, but we won’t romanticize the journey. We ask the tough questions, confront uncomfortable truths, and prepare for a future that resists easy answers. We believe that the tougher and wilder times become, the more openly, honestly and humanely people need to talk to each other and act together. We believe, openness, togetherness, and truthfulness should also be cornerstones of a professional community to develop our utopian idea of „open source“. This is a space where visionaries don’t just imagine the future — they wrestle with the paradoxes that shape it: success vs. happiness, data vs. instinct, stability vs. reinvention. Join leaders, entrepreneurs, and thinkers as they share not what made them — but what’s actively shaping them, now and next. So tune in
