Nine weeks after beating their provincial rivals to complete a three-in-a-row of Connacht senior titles, Galway's ladies footballers host Mayo again in the TG4 All-Ireland senior ladies football quarter-final on Sunday (5th July 2026). While the Tribeswomen have had a better record in recent years, Mayo did knock them out of the All-Ireland series at this stage in 2021 and 2023, and were only one goal short of Galway when they met in May.
