LHMF 05-26-26 Jenny Hubbard of the Catherine Violet Hubbard Foundation

from Alternative Talk- 1150AM KKNW · host Alternative Talk- 1150AM KKNW

Catherine Violet Hubbard was a joyful, loving child who adored animals and all living creatures. And most of all, she wanted them to know that she was kind. When Catherine lost her life during the Sandy Hook tragedy of 2012, people donated to a local animal shelter in her memory and eventually the Catherine Violet Hubbard Foundation was born. Their mission is to teach kindness and empathy, while helping animals find homes and making the planet more friendly for all living creatures. June 6th is Catherine’s birthday and the date of the 10th Annual Butterfly Party. During this event there will be rescue groups and other advocates on site, and animals will be available for adoption. Learn more about this event, how rescues across the nation will be honored, and about some of the many awards CVH Foundation has received for their messaging and their methods. Visit www.cvhfoundation.org where you can also find opportunities for donations and volunteering. This is a very worthy organization and if you have not yet heard of it, you will want to!
