Liefste Lies deel 1 - EERSTE BRIEVEN

In Sittard is een koffer opgedoken met honderden liefdesbrieven, gericht aan een zekere Lies. Transcribent Lies Schouten-Vossen raakt geïntrigeerd door haar naamgenoot en hoopt meer over haar te weten te komen. In 1940 is Lies 16 jaar en doet ze eindexamen op een door nonnen bestierde MULO in Sittard. Ze schrijft met vriendinnen en experimenteert stiekem met jongens. Haar toekomstperspectief is een kantoorbaantje tot er een man is gevonden om mee te trouwen en kinderen te krijgen. Julia leest de brieven van Lies’ vriendin Corrie voor, Flip die van een vriendje.
