The Great Commission to ‘go and announce to all the nations that forgiveness is available if you will change your thinking about sin,’ comes to us in the Bible after an interesting but confusing encounter between two disciples and the secret-Jesus. They’re walking along the road from Jerusalem to Emmaus, but interestingly, to get to this commissioning moment Jesus confronted the disciples with some important lessons that are still vital today to us today!
