Her husband died 11 years ago and she is dedicating her life to helping other widows and widowers find their way through grief and forward to finding their new purpose in life. Everyone kept telling her how strong she was, but she didn't really have another choice. Her 6 mostly-grown sons were grieving and she didn't want to cause them more pain by showing them her grieving. She wants to spread the word that no widow should go it alone.
