Life Gets MoCrazy- Using Pageants to Raise Awareness of Brain Injury

from Life Gets MoCrazy · host Lets Get MoCrazy

All of a sudden, anyone who is connected to a Brain Injury, their life becomes a little MoCrazy. A Brain Injury does shut some doors, but it also opens doors. This show will be talking to survivors, caregivers, therapists, anyone immediately involved with a Brain Injury to learn different ways to overcome this struggle and walk through new doors. Every single person who had a Brain Injury has new doors opened for them, take a leap of faith and walk through those doors. On July 14 I will be interviewing Lainey Severson. Lainy is a TBI survivor, loved one of a survivor, and an advocate. She got her first TBI in 2011 playing soccer, then got her second one in 2013/14. She has been an advocate for TBI since 2011 and competes in pageants with a platform that promotes TBI prevention and awareness.  Her goal is to figure out how to help all TBI survivors.
