Life is to short for bad Relationships
from K-Talk · host K Chynn
Good friends can get on our nerves; on this podcast, I am talking about the relationships we have with people. Sometimes to preserve your friendship, it calls you to take a break from the person. And in good friendships, I believe this is necessary. I think a good friend is the person who shows up when you need them the most. They pick you up when you are down. Now you have some people who are always down, or they do it for attention. I am not talking about that kind of person. I value my friendships with people because I can be honest with them, and I would hope they would be honest with me. Relationships are investments, and I personally only want to invest in relationships where I am contributing to someone's growth, and they are contributing to mine. See, loyalty is dangerous because we sacrifice or personal mental real estate for fear of losing someone who does not add value.
