Life Issues - Sex-Selective Abortion Kills Indian Mother

A tragic story from India reminds us that abortion doesn’t just end the life of an unborn child—it can also claim the life of the mother. A 35-year-old woman reportedly died after undergoing a sex-selective abortion following a prenatal test that revealed she was carrying a baby girl. The family feared that another baby girl would make their financial situation worse.   According to reports, she suffered severe complications and later died despite receiving medical treatment. Authorities are investigating and have already made several arrests.  Every abortion ends an innocent human life, but too often the abortion industry and its supporters ignore the risks mother’s face as well. Nothing about abortion is safe, not for mother or child.
