Light Into Dark Places - A Tribute

I want to pay tribute to the speakers who carried light into my very, very dark years of 2006-2009 (trauma memories, health crisis, break up, laid off, bankruptcy, and so much more). Shortly after moving to Portland in 2009, I was sitting in a meeting and I had the thought, "I can't believe I made it." With the thought came a deep knowing that I did not walk through those years; I was carried. I was carried by every meeting, every share, every speaker, every healthcare professional, every fellow, every friend, and every kind neighbor. I want to share the speaker pitches that I listened to over and over during that time. There are many that don't resonate with me today and that's okay. I don't need them today; I needed them 13 years into recovery wondering looking at the decimated rubble of my life and wondering where the *fuck* was my "happy destiny."
