New Membership Magic Beyond Program revealed Disney Vacation Club announced a new program for eligible Members called Membership Magic Beyond. This add-on will cost $99 for the first year and will apply from January 12th through December 31st, 2025. Only one purchase is necessary to apply across all memberships in a household.  Benefits of this extra program are as follows: Access to Walt Disney World 5-day weekday ticket with 1 water park visit or Disneyland 3-day weekday pass including Lighting Lane Multi-pass for discounted rates for the Member and up to 7 others in the household. Actual prices have not yet been provided. Reserve a 30-day Memory Maker entitlement once a year.  Priority Access to the Member lounges that will put you to the top of the waitlist - including the EPCOT, Disneyland, and upcoming Frontierland lounge.  An Exclusive Meet and Mingle with special characters at the Epcot lounge. Use your points to buy a sorcerer’s pass. No word on how many points for this, but Peter Estimated 100-120 points per pass.  Get BOGO pricing on One Time Use Points. The average price increase was 6-7%. Single day tickets remain on six tiers, with the most expensive single day ticket priced at $206.  A 4-day pass is now $445, and a pre-book Lightning Lane Multi Pass is now $32, up from $30.   Annual passes also increased by up to 20%, though they are currently not available to purchase. On January 12th, 2025, Triceratops Spin, Fossil Fun Games, and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures will be closing. The remaining DinoLand attractions do not have a closing date yet. In addition, an extended closure of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad has been announced to be closing on January 6th, 2025 and will reopen sometime in 2026 with “a little bit of new magic”. Finally, a delay in the opening of the new version of the Little Mermaid stage show has been announced. Originally planned for fall of 2024, Walt Disney World is now saying this attraction will not open until summer of 2025. The perk gives access to one of each Lightning Lane ride in each park on the day of purchase. This includes both Multi Pass and Single Pass for all rides in the park, but only applies to one park each day.  Prices vary significantly by park and date: Animal Kingdom : $129 to $199 Epcot: $169 to $249 Hollywood Studios: $269 to $349 Magic Kingdom: $329 to $449 Disneyland: $300 to $400 Source: Walt Disney World website, Disneyland website New Holiday Additions at Walt Disney World Some new announcements for the holidays at Walt Disney World: Santa will be greeting at Restaurantosaurus’ 75th Annual Dino Institute Holiday Party in Animal Kingdom starting November 12th. Live entertainment will be added to Hollywood Studios for the holiday. The includes Juggling Elves, the Holiday Spirit Band - a dynamic brass ensemble, and Seasons Jukebox - a collegiate marching band. All are scheduled to start November 12th.
